Frankfurt am Main, 28 August 2026 — The Frankfurt International Alumni Association e.V. (FIAA) and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management today announced a cooperation aimed at strengthening international alumni connections and creating new opportunities for exchange between their networks. The agreement aims to establish high-level events in Frankfurt am Main, bringing together FIAA's international alumni network with the alumni community of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management on and off campus.
“This partnership brings together two networks that share the same ambition: to make Frankfurt a stronger hub for international dialogue, education and exchange,” said Christoph Jacob, President of FIAA e.V. “Frankfurt School brings an outstanding academic community and outstanding venues; FIAA brings a genuinely international network and experience in building executive-level events.”
“We are pleased to connect our alumni community with FIAA's international expert network,” said Lisa Ronneburger, Director of Student and Alumni Affairs at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. “With alumni across 168 countries, the Frankfurt School community is truly global. Joint formats like this allow both communities to learn from each other and to engage with topics that matter well beyond Frankfurt.”
The first event held under the new partnership will be the panel discussion “Africa 2035: Will Africa Shape Global Systems — or Be Shaped by Them?”, taking place on 15 October 2026. The panel will bring together experts to examine Africa's trajectory across five interconnected dimensions: demographics, innovation, climate, narratives, and geopolitics. The event will be hosted jointly by FIAA and Frankfurt School.
Further details on the programme, speakers and registration for the Africa 2035 panel will be announced in the coming weeks.
