AFRICA 2035: Will It Shape Global Systems — or Be Shaped by Them?

By 2035, one in four people on Earth will be African. That is a demographic shift and a global turning point. The technologies Africa builds, the businesses it creates, the climate decisions it makes, and the stories it tells about itself will shape far more than the future of the continent.

The question is: Are we ready to understand, engage with and build the future together? Will Africa shape global systems, or be shaped by them?

We don't claim to know the answer. That's exactly why we're bringing this question to the stage and why we want you in the room when it's asked. We are proud to invite you to the next FIAA Executive Series event, in cooperation with FIAA e.V., MIT Club of Germany e.V., and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Three provocations. No easy answers. A panel that will argue, not lecture:

• 01 Technology & Leapfrogging — can the world's youngest population build solutions on its own terms, or will it inherit someone else's?

• 02 Climate on the Front Line — who pays, who decides, who leads? The transformation is coming either way; the question is who is in the room when it's designed.

• 03 Narrative Power — what changes when Africans tell Africa's story themselves, and who has been telling it until now?
